OVERVIEW:
OVERLORD SR (aka Overlorde, Overlorde SR) was North Carolina's first heavy metal band originally called Reagan dating back to the late 1970s. The band would self-released one EP in the first half of the 80s that would go on to become pretty legendary in the cult metal underground. They would also have a song appear on one of the famed Metal Blade Records 'Metal Massacre' volumes before disappearing into obscurity.
 
Many years later the band would be given new life by Heaven and Hell Records who would release a lot of the band's early material including reissuing the 'Medieval Metal' EP.
