OVERVIEW:
Formed in Upstate New York in 1984 Blacksmith quickly would become one of the premier heavy metal acts in their area In 1986 they would release a self-titled EP that helped to push the band into becoming one of New York's rising stars. Not long after the release original singer Heidi Black would depart from the ranks and vocalist Malcolm Mania would step in. In 1989 the band released 'Fire from Within' on Tropical Records.
